  • What's for Dinner: Ham and cabbage
For the first time in quite a while I felt a sense of national pride and hope today. I wasn't among the 2 million who peacefully gathered (that's right, not one arrest has been reported) to witness Barack Obama become the 44th President of the United States, but I did manage to listen to the inaugural ceremony on my radio at work. I pray that the inspiration and momentum people are feeling today carries forward into the days, months, and years ahead. God knows we could use a whole lotta better and a lot less worse for a change.
