After many days of April showers and cool temperatures, the weather today was lovely. It's going to be really hot this weekend though. I'm talking 90-ish. That's way too hot too soon. I hope it's not a harbinger of things to come. At this rate it will be 110 in July. It seems like we rarely have much of a spring anymore, and it's not unusual to feel like we go right from using the heat to the air conditioning. We didn't have many nice days this month, but there was one memorable afternoon when I was driving through the parking lot of a shopping center and there were two geese sunning themselves. They were facing each other, each lying in their own parking space. It cracked me up. I wish I had gotten a picture.
