Serenity (Or a Sedative) Now!

No, I haven't given up blogging. I figured I should post something before people start removing my link from their blogs.  I still haven't gotten the urge to update regularly yet though. Just consider me on summer vacation for now.

Work has been crazy for the past 5 months, and I think the stress and craziness will be peaking starting next week when some new stuff goes into effect.  I'm already practicing my "Serenity now!" 

My mom and I did get together with some family for lunch last week. One of my cousins and his wife were visiting from out of state, so it was nice to catch up with them.

Then over the weekend one of my mom's cousins passed away.  We found out he was ill several years ago when we saw him at the cancer treatment center when my dad was there for an appointment. Not sure about arrangements yet, but I'm guessing there's a funeral on my schedule in the next couple of days.
