A big welcome to fall!

So I've survived the return to work. I was worried that in the two weeks that I was away all the problems and issues would be resolved and there would be a bunch of new stuff I'd have to learn to get up to speed, but, eh, no. Nothing had changed and it was like I'd never left. A lot of the work has been pretty simple and routine, so I've been able to go on auto-pilot and let my mind wander back to Tahoe, which is where I'd rather be, of course.

I had the opportunity to take tomorrow off, so I took it. It's been a while since I've had a vacation day ya know.  I think I might go visit the Amish folks and see if they're cooking up any apple cider donuts yet.
