- What's for Dinner: Shrimp fried rice

We're in the midst of two Nor'easters that are making things pretty yucky. It's been cold, rainy, and windy since Thursday, and it's supposed to continue through Sunday as well. The temps have only been in the 40s, which is about 20-25 degrees colder than normal for this time of year. I originally had Friday scheduled off as a vacation day, but I switched it for the Friday I took a few weeks ago. I'm so glad I did, because the weather was so great then. I figured it was better to go with the sure thing rather than chance it.
The storms brought snow to some areas up north already. It's way too early for snow and it's weird to see the white against fall foliage. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come this winter...which is still supposed to be two months away, Mother Nature!

We're having a chat on Bonanza World tonight in honor of Victor Sen Yung's birthday. Stop by if you can.
We ordered Chinese food for lunch at work yesterday.
That made me happy because I was feeling lo mein-y. There are no Chinese restaurants that deliver to my house, or I'd order some tonight too. I'm too lazy to go out in this crappy weather to get it myself. I did find a box of fried rice mixture in my cupboard, so I think I'll doctor that up with some shrimp and veggies.
