Road Rage

Mood:

Maybe it's just me, but don't you think there's something wrong if repair work needs to be done on the same road every year, tying up traffic for weeks during rush hour? And then when they finish and pack up all their stuff, the same cracks and craters appear within a few months or even weeks. So what's the freakin' point? Driving on that road is so bumpy from all the patch jobs, it's like a Disney ride, and it sure looks like crap. I just don't understand how I can cross the border into the next state and the road magically becomes smooth and virtually flawless, and I don't think I've seen any roadwork done to it in the past 10 years. If one state can manage it, why can't the other?
